The festival

Barcelona VisualSound Festival is an exhibition place and a platform of promotion for the young creator and artist people of the audiovisual world.

Barcelona VisualSound bets on the young people, on the presence of different districts of the city and on the diversity of audiovisual subjects. The originality, the creativity and the ingenuity of the audiovisual carriers is a characteristic of this Festival.

The 7th edition of the Festival Barcelona VisualSound will celebrate from 9 until 19 February 2010. You can enter and participate in the Competition Section of the Festival until 30 November 2010.

In the seventh edition there are twelve disciplines in the Competition Section: animation, false trailers, fiction, mobile and camera films, mountain-adventure-nature documentary, social documentary, soundtrack, video advertising, video clip, video creation, web design and 2 minutes in 1 day.

The Barcelona VisualSound is a whole initiative of the Youth and Women Council of the Barcelona City Council and the districts of Eixample, Sants-Montjuïc, Gràcia, Horta-Guinardó, Sant Andreu and Sant Martí.”.
